This IOSH approved "Working Safely / Safety Passport " course is a basic introduction for all levels of personnel who are non-heath and safety experts. The training will give staff the information they need to keep themselves safe at work and contribute to overall health and safety in the workplace ensuring they clearly understand their safety responsibilities.

Recognised by CSCS as an equivalent to a Level 1 Award in health and safety in a construction environment. That means that delegates who successfully complete Working safely can apply for a CSCS Green Labourer Card once they have also passed the CITB Health, Safety and Environment Operatives Test

Course Venue This one day IOSH Working Safely course is held at our Birmingham Conference Venue (Just 1 mile from M42 Junction 3 Exit at Becketts Farm).

Who Should Attend The IOSH Working Safely course is designed to improve the safety culture within an organisation by giving individuals a good understanding of their health and safety responsibilities, and teaching them how to keep themselves and others safe at work.

By the end of the course delegates will have knowledge of:

• hazards and risk assessments in the workplace
• health and safety legislation and relevant regulations
• the responsibilities of managers and supervisors and themselves for the management and implementation of safety in the workplace
• apply principles of good practice in health and safety
• be able to use effective communication
• make sure that health and safety law is obeyed within their own workplace.

Course Tutor Our health and safety consultants are qualified and experienced professionals with an appropriate background in risk management. All consultants as a minimum hold professional membership of the chartered Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).

Assessment Delegates will complete both a multi-choice assessment paper and three hazard spotting assessment papers.

Certification An IOSH ‘Working safely’ certificate is awarded to all those who successfully pass.
